  1. What about Chaumont there is a recording from that. Probably one of my favorite bootlegs.

  5. The Caley Picture House, Edinburgh....man, that must have been amazing! I went to see Gong / Steve Hillage at exactly the same venue only a couple of months ago and thought it was a really good hall.

  7. You might be able to find this show if you go on Soulseek. There are a few Magma collectors up there.

  8. Thanks for the advice marc I will check that out. 73/74 magma is something I can never have enough of. It'd be cool if they did a professional remaster of Bremen, Brussels or Chaumont and made it a new AKT release I think.

  9. The very first time I ever saw Magma was on this tour, At Cambridge Corn Exchange on 22 June. Bear in mind I had never heard a note of Magma,s music before it was a leap of faith on my part! A couple of my work friends were extolling the wonder of Magma music and persuaded me to attend the gig, Thank god i did, 40 years on they still leave me stunned playing live. The 1974 tour was a great introduction to Magma as it was a stripped down line up. As far as I can recall they played Kohntarkosz in its entirety plus Mekanik Zain plus another piece I never recognised. Perhaps someone has the set list from that night, even more wonderful would be a live tape from that night. The sound quality I remember was stunning.

  10. Everyone would love to get a copy of any recording from the Cambridge concert. Maybe you know some friends who recorded it, or took photos, or even has a ticket stub that you can scan?

You can go to the "Magma On Tour" section of the Ork Alarm website and find out the set list from that tour. Most likely, it was Kohntarkosz, Sowiloi/KMX, Ptah (drum solo), Theusz Hamtaahk, and MDK.
