Bruno Ruder is out of Magma

According to various sources, last night was Bruno Ruder's last concert with Magma.

The new keyboard player in Magma is Jeremie Ternoy.

I don't know anything about Jeremie. Anybody have any more info about him? Helene?

  1. No idea. According to some reports on one of the French Magma forums, he is going to concentrate on solo projects. He finished recording his parts on FT for the new album, and that's that. The keyboard part in Magma has certainly been less stable than the others.

  3. Well, to be honest, I wasn't very fond of his solo in F-T. I got used to it, but not enough to love it. It's a shame he didn't stay long enough, i would have loved to see what he would have done on MDK, or KA...

Bye Bruno, thanks for the music, and welcome Jeremie !

  4. According to Mr. Issehn, there is an interview from 2008 with Ruder on the Magma Web Pressbook where Ruder says that he really wants to play jazz, and that he would not stay in Magma for a long time. So, I guess that 3-1/2 years was enough time for him. Since Magma has very few gigs booked in 2012, this is a perfect time for him to leave.
