  1. Do any recordings exist after Chaumont? I have yet to see any unless Roundhouse was after Chaumont I can't remember.

  2. The recording from Le Grand Motte was a few days after La Rochelle. But, that's the latest artifact that we have from the 1974 band. However, JC Alluin has a photo of a poster from the 1974 Spanish Tour that will come out in his book.

  3. Wasn't the La Grande-Motte much earlier? Late January 1974, judging by the lineup and the arrangements of the songs.

  4. According to Ork Alarm, the date of Le grande Motte was August 1st (although there is a question mark next tot he date).

  5. At least the recording likely isn't from August. Claude Olmos plays there and it is believed that he left in late April without returning - there's no guitar on the Chaumont and the british tour tapes from June.
So is the tape from Bristol the latest one we have from 1974 so far?

  6. I also have heard suggested that that tape is from January. (Maybe 1-8 instead of 8-1?) I believe I've read in the Kohntarkosz booklet from studio zund that the band was taping during that period to try to track their progress but Christian said that they stopped listening because the band was improving at every performance. These tapes would be my number one interest if Seventh decides to start releasing concerts for download (Stella I hope you're listening :)

  7. Yes - perhaps they would release the great quality Soissons recording from January 1974...

  8. The Grande Motte gig is not from August 74. First Claude Olmos appears on this concert, second the way of playing is more close than Bremen or the end of January. After making some research I am not sure it's really at the grande Motte because it's doesn't appear on the Klaus Diary.
