You can now order E-R directly through the Seventh website. Until December 15th, they have a special 16% discount off of the regular price of 25 Euros. So, not including shipping and handling, you can order it for 21 Euros. However, shipping to the United States is over 9 Euros (about $13).
I think I will wait and order it from Wayside Music, where I hope that Steve Feigenbaum will charge substanstially less than $9 for shipping a 2 pieces of plastic.

Any idea about catalog number? maybe "A XXXV" ?
ReplyDeleteI do not see United States on list of countries.
ReplyDeleteLook for "Etats-Unis".
ReplyDeleteGot it. Thank You Marc. Do we know if this is a preorder and they ship it on the previously announced first week of November, or are they shipping it out now?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I have heard, they are actually going to get the CDs from the factory next week.
ReplyDeleteSo expensive....
ReplyDeleteIt's much more than 2 pieces of plastic my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's all worth... I already bought my copy... now I'm waiting for it!
I agree. I would have paid $100 if it was the price, it's always a pleasure to send money to the best musicians I ever heard :-) I'm happy to support Magma, they do not do it for free, and without that kind of support Magma would maybe no more exist. I also go to as many concerts as I can.
ReplyDeleteBuy from Seventh and support Magma more directly! It's silly to quibble over ten bucks. Consider it a tip to the musicians and the composer who've given you so much pleasure.
ReplyDeleteOr, if you have a hard time with that, just imagine that you're buying the Vanders a nice bottle of wine and it'll go down easier. Lunch is on me tomorrow, Stella and Christian!
Yes! I feel ER is worth many bottles of wine :)
ReplyDeleteJust got the CD/DVD package! It's top of the line as always and worth every dimes. Ha, Stella...
ReplyDeleteGreat news. I can't believe I just found out about this. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen. I will be ordering from Seventh.
ReplyDeleteGot it today as a parcel straight from Seventh, great music, great album.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable and absolutely mindbending,
shockingly good music with great sound and dynamics. It's the Magma you know and love.
A must-have for anyone who wants to listen to good music.
EMEHNTEHTT-RE was under the Christmas tree this morning, along with the non-Zeuhl but very, very fine jazz disc PALACE GHOSTS AND DRUNKEN HYMNS by the Will Holshouser trio (+ guest trumpet). Brother-in-law took me seriously when I said "anything" on the Wayside home page would suffice. Sister might have aimed him at the Magma disc -- not that she was ever a fan of THAT! But _I_ am, and E_R is absolutely top of the crop. Yah, we've heard some of it before, over the years, but believe me, it is still not to be missed.
